Here is a compiling of some of the books I've read, and enjoyed or haven't enjoyed so much. I have a rating system of stars, 4 being the best, 1 the not so great. You really can't judge a book by it's cover, but I've included most of the covers here, so if you want more information, just click on them!

Excellent, definately worth reading.
Very good, worth your while.
Okay, an average novel.
Not great, hard to read.

There's the list, and I'm basing these ratings on my own judgement, so don't take offense.
Some books I just can't get into.

The Dragonbone Chair
by Tad Williams.
Approximately 640 pages.
Well worth the length. This is the first of the Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn triliogy. This book is a touching tale about a boy, Simon, who is forced into early manhood. He fights for good, and despite his fears and doubts, struggles to be a hero.I love this book!! It has so many highly developed characters and emotional aspects, that I couldn't put it down. I find myself re-reading my favorite parts over and over again.

The Stone of Farewell
by Tad Williams.
Approximately 570 pages.
Still worth the length. This sequel to The Dragonbone Chair, this one is very touching. I found myself crying at points(laugh if you want) and laughing as well. Simon has grown into manhood, still bordering on boyish tendencies. He is learning the pain it is to be a hero.  I loved this book too!!!  I grew to love the characters, and anticipated what they were going to do, and how they were going to react.

To Green Angel Tower
by Tad Williams.
Approximately 1070 pages.
(it's actually two books)
If you can read the complete book, you're awesome, but once you start it, you won't be able to put it down. The final book in the trilogy. Simon is now a man, and must fight for what he wants, and what he believes. What can I say... It was the culmination of everything. I'm warning you, though, you'll feel a sense of withdrawal once you're finished with the trilogy. Enjoy it!!

Caliban's Hour
by Tad Williams.
Approximately 194 pages.
Quite a good book, and a good length. This is a basic tale of inhumanity towards what is misunderstood. I can't explain it any better, so read it!A good book, but short-seeming after Tad Williams' other works. It has a good plot, and a neat, clean, finish.

The Prydain Chronicles, including,The Book of Three, The Black Cauldron, The Castle of Llyr, Taran Wanderer, The High King.
by Lloyd Alexander.
The compilation has approximately 700 pages.
Very fast reading, worth the length, and you can read one book at a time. This series is another boy's search for his identity, his inner hero, and surrounding this is the basic good versus evil book.I love these books, and have read them a few times. I also wrote my junior term-paper on heroism in these books, and how Lloyd Alexander shows it.

Dragon's Blood
by Jane Yolen
Approximately 245 pages.
This is a story of a lonely bond-boy who steals a dragon for his own. It tells of his struggle to fill his bond-bag, and gain freedom from his slave-like living.A very touching story, that doesn't take long to read. This is a neat perspective on dragons, and I enjoyed nearly every moment. The only drawback is that it's juvenile fiction, which shouldn't limit anyone, but it may. I think it could have been more descriptive, but otherwise is a great book!

Heart's Blood
by Jane Yolen
Approximately 338 pages.
Jakkin is fighting for his love of Akki, now that he is free. With the help of his dragon, and love, where can he go wrong, right? This second book seems more grown-up, with the fight for love between Jakkin and Akki. The Ending is heart-rending, and you'll be left shell-shocked.

The Oathbound.
by Mercedes Lackey.
Approximately 300 pages.
Sisters in souls and in missions, Kethry and Tarma have joined together to fight for the greater good. Pulled into hazardous missions by Kethry's sword need, these two ladies use magic and muscle to help whom they can. This was one of the greatest books I've ever read. To follow these two surprising individuals through the land, seeing how they live, is just marvelous. You'll be fascinated with their way of life, and their sometimes humourous comments and actions.

Oathbreakers.
by Mercedes Lackey.
Approximately 320 pages.
Tarma and Kethry have joined a Mercenary group, the Sunhawks, to help carry out their good-promoting ways in a different aspect. Their Captain, Idra, is called off on a family matter, and disappears. The two woman, joined by compainions and fellow mercenaries, are determined to find out what has happened to her. This was Great!! It has more of a plot than the first, so those of you who want a solid storyline, you've got it. Tarma and Kethry have all new tricks up their sleeves to help them cope with new situations and environments.

Oathbbood.
by Mercedes Lackey.
Approximately 400 pages.
How did Kethry and Tarma meet? What was the tragedy that made Tarma swear herself to the Goddess? What are the names of Kethry's children? In this collection of stories about the partners, you will learn all you want to know. This is a wonderful book! I didn't even know it existed, until I saw it sitting in a magazine shop, and I snatched it up. Finished all the stories in a day. It was great to learn about things that had happened to the duo, before, during, and after Vows and Honor.

Are you still with me? Keep going, there are still more books to read!
